First Ever Leonian Pro Shop Open Its Doors in Sabah Golf & Country Club
Kota Kinabalu, 21 September 2024 – Today marks the celebration of the official opening of Leonian Pro Shop in Sabah Golf & Country Club. This outlet is the first ever Leonian branded Pro Shop that Leonian Malaysia has embarked on since the change in company name from Transview Golf back in the end of 2022.
This newly refurbished outlet in Sabah GCC is a rebrand from the previous Transview Golf outlet which was managed by our East Malaysian partner with it now being an outlet fully managed and owned by Leonian Malaysia. In conjunction with its official opening, Leonian Malaysia had a week-long celebration to commemorate this occasion with conducting a Special Sale that was running from 19-22 September.
On top of that, there will also be a Leonian Monthly Medal open for Sabah GCC club members on the 22 September 2024. For this Leonian Medal, the prizes for the competition are fully sponsored by Leonian Malaysia to celebrate this official opening with their members.
Frankie Choo, Director of Leonian Malaysia and his management team were on site for the ribbon cutting ceremony together with Andrew Yap -President of Sabah GCC, management staff as well as committee members of the club. Choo like an honoured host, he shared “We’re thrilled to witness the opening success of our first ever Leonian branded pro shop here in East Malaysia. We couldn’t had achieved this without the support of the management of Sabah GCC who entrusted us in this new Pro Shop space spanning across 1200 sqft and indeed we are proud to be associated with the picturesque oldest 18-hole golf course in Sabah.”
Choo added, “We felt it was also timely for this rebrand exercise as it needed a fresh new look especially with how we intend to showcase all our premier brands here in East Malaysia. The interior design of the showroom was lead internally and it was inspired from the overall customer shopping experience that we intended and also adopting the concept from our Japanese retail partner especially for the hard goods section, so we hope this gives a whole new shopping perspective to the golfers here in Kota Kinabalu”.
